14-year-old Miami boy who had been missing for two days has been found: Cops
UPDATE: Dominick Adams has been found, Miami police said Wednesday night.
Miami police were looking for Dominick, 14, who police said had been missing for about two days and could be at risk of suicide.
Theresa Adams, Dominick’s mother, said she thought Dominick was asleep when she went to bed Monday night. The next morning, he was gone.
The Adamses haven’t lived in Miami for too long. They moved from New York last year.
This isn’t the first time Dominick has wandered off, said his mother, although in other instances, he had gone missing for no more than an hour or two in the past.
But this time, his mother told police, they had had a fight and she was concerned he was going to harm himself.
“Me and his sisters and all of our friends love him and miss him and want him to come home. I would love to just sit and talk with him,” his mother had said before he was found. “I want him home.”
