Miami Springs retirement center near top in state in coronavirus infections, city says

A Miami Springs landmark is the site of 106 COVID-19 cases, the city said Friday night.

“We have received this report from the Florida Department of Health on COVID-19 cases at nursing homes in the State of Florida,” officials said.

According to the city, the Fair Havens Retirement Center, located at 201 Curtiss Pkwy., currently has those 106 COVID-19 cases.

Fair Havens sold in January for $29 million.

“This places them number one in the county and number two statewide,” the city said.
