Crash shuts down stretch of southbound I-95 in Miami-Dade during rush hour

An 8:45 a.m. crash shut down all main line lanes of Interstate 95 southbound at Northwest 103rd Street on Thursday morning as Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Florida Highway Patrol dealt with the mess.

The express lanes seemed to be getting by, although users should watch for cut ins by those in the main line who don’t respect the orange poles.

Those coming south out of North Miami-Dade or Broward County can take U.S. 441/Northwest Seventh Avenue, Miami Avenue or Biscayne Boulevard.
