A Honda CR-V driver has been arrested after a hit-and-run incident that knocked a Dodge Ram pickup truck, a boat trailer and a boat off Interstate 95 and into brush next to an apartment building.

That’s according to Florida Highway Patrol, which investigated the incident after Miami Fire Rescue took the four passengers involved to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It was a short trip — the carnage sat where Northwest 28th Street dead-ends at the embankment leading to I-95, about a mile from Jackson.

Fire Rescue said via Twitter that the four got themselves out of the truck, which wound up under the boat trailer it had been towing.

This all happened around 6:45 a.m. Sunday. FHP said the Honda CR-V driver sideswiped the Dodge Ram as they headed south on the highway. The contact bumped the pickup trick out of control, sending the whole shebang through the guardrail and down the embankment.

Details on the arrest of the Honda driver, including name, haven’t been released yet.
