An elderly man crossing a Miami street was killed by a hit-and-run driver, cops say

An elderly man was killed Tuesday night in what Miami police are calling a hit-and-run crash.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday at 1323 NW 54th St. in Liberty City.
WSVN and CBS 4 reported that the man was riding a motorized scooter.
No other details were immediately available.
