The non-profit Miami Chapter of The Compassionate Friends (TCF) on Sunday will host its annual candle-lighting ceremony to remember loved ones who have died. The ceremony, which will include music and special readings, will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Miami-Dade County Fair and Expo Center, Goode Building, 10901 SW 24 St., Gate 2.

The event is free, but donations are accepted.

The group offers emotional support to parents and anyone in a guardianship role grieving the death of a child of any age and from any cause. Guests will have the opportunity to talk with other families.

The event is held every second Sunday in December worldwide at 7 p.m. in each time zone before the holiday season. For more information, call 305-460-5762.
