One extracted, six injured and two cars destroyed in I-95 crash
Six injured, one person extracted from a severely damaged car after a crash on Interstate 95 Saturday morning.
Around 11:25 a.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Miami Fire Rescue responded to the crash near Northwest 81st Street, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said.
From pictures posted by Miami Fire Rescue, the crash involved a GMC Envoy and black pick-up truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma.
The pick-up had extensive front-end damage, while the Envoy had severe damage to its front and right side.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said six people were injured, one being sent to the hospital as a trauma alert. One person had to be extracted from one of the vehicles.
