Woman dead after early morning shooting in Miami, cops say
A woman has died after a Monday morning shooting near dawn in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood, police said.
Miami police say the woman was found shot near the intersection of Northwest Third Avenue and 14th Street around 6:50 a.m. She was taken to nearby Ryder Trauma Center in Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she died a few hours later.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
