Traffic was at a standstill, so this postal worker went rogue in South Miami-Dade

A driver came upon a disturbing sight while riding Krome Avenue and Southwest 184th Street the other day.

In cellphone video posted on Thursday to the Only in Dade humor Facebook page, you can see a U.S Postal Service tearing down a road off the highway, at a high rate of speed. Clouds of dust trail the truck.

“Ay, ay, ay, going too fast,” says the person off camera.

Cars appear to be at a standstill and the postal worker decided to take an alternate route.

A spokesman with the USPS said they are investigating the incident.

“This is clearly unacceptable behavior that does not reflect the efforts of the thousands of professional, dedicated carriers in our workforce,” Debra J. Fetterly of the USPS South Florida District told NBC6.
