A car chase involving the Broward Sheriff’s Office came to an end in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 near Miami Gardens Tuesday afternoon, halting rush hour traffic.
According to BSO, deputies responded to a call of a possible robbery and located a person of interest in the 3000 block of West Sunrise Boulevard, near Fort Lauderdale.
That person took off, said Joy Oglesby a spokeswoman for the department.
The pursuit ended south of Miami Gardens when the person’s car hit a deputy’s vehicle. No one was injured in the crash.
