Tri-Rail train hits and kills person in Northeast Miami-Dade
A southbound Tri-Rail train fatally struck a “trespasser” Sunday afternoon near Ives Dairy Road in Northeast Miami-Dade, according to a Tri-Rail spokeswoman.
The accident happened about 3:45 p.m., said Bonnie Arnold.
There were 105 passengers on-board at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported, Arnold said.
There is now a bus shuttling riders between the Golden Glades Interchange and Hollywood stations.
No other information was immediately available.
