The stranger offered the little girl candy, cops say. They're looking for him.
A 7-year-old girl escaped an attempted abduction in a Miami neighborhood east of Interstate 95, police say.
According to Miami police, the girl was near the corner of Northwest 75th Street and Fourth Avenue around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday when her walk home from a nearby summer camp was interrupted by a man trying to get her into his car.
He offered candy. She didn't go for it.
Miami police say they're looking for a white male last seen in a red sedan and wearing a ski mask and gloves.
