Commuters this week will face road-work challenges on Interstate 95 and State Roads 874, 836, 826 and 112.
On I-95, workers are installing plastic poles along the northbound lanes from the Golden Glades Interchange to the Broward County line about one half mile south of Hallandale Beach. The work will require ramp shut-downs along the stretch as part of the express-lane extension project in Broward. Plastic pole installation will go on for several nights.
On 836, several ramps will be closed through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next day and then again from 11.p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday for pavement striping. They include the entrance ramps to eastbound 836 from northbound and southbound NWorthwest 12thAvenue; the eastbound 836 exit ramps to northbound and southbound Northwest 27th Avenue; the entrance ramp to eastbound 836 from northbound Northwest 57th Avenue; and the westbound 836 exit ramp to southbound Northwest 57th Avenue.
On 826, all northbound lanes will be closed at Northwest 25thStreet from 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday for work on a bridge over the roadway.

On 112, workers handling a road project along Northwest 36th Street will close the exit ramp from westbound 112 for bridge work and setting up for piles through Sunday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each day.
On the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike, one or two lanes in each direction between Killian Parkway and Southwest 152nd Street will be closed nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Thursday. A third lane in either direction may be closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., if needed.
On 874, one or two lanes in either direction will be closed between Killian Parkway and the turnpike every night through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
