Health insurer Humana will host a two-day job fair in Miramar Tuesday and Wednesday to fill about 25 South Florida positions, including managerial and nursing positions, to support the insurer’s growth in the region.
The fair will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday inside the Community Resource Room in the Humana Medical Plan building at 3501 SW 160th Ave. in Miramar.
Nancy Hanewinckel, a spokesperson for Humana, said applicants should bring their résumés and be ready for on-site interviews.
“A lot of these positions will be supporting our Medicare population which has expanded in the area,” Hanewinckel added. “Our markets have definitely expanded in South Florida overall.”
A sampling of the available positions: disease manager, case manager, auditor, on-site nurse liaison and registered nurse supervisor. Interested candidates must have an active Florida registered nurse license and clinical experience. Management experience is preferred. Those unable to attend the job fair can go to Humana.com/careers to learn more.
