More heat and heavy storms are back in South Florida this week, even though it’s not summer yet.
The forecast calls for highs around 90 with strong storms through Wednesday.
“It will feel like the 100s” when humidity is factored in, said CBS4 meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez.
Like on Monday, the afternoon storms could bring lightning, hail and wind gusts. Wednesday’s rain chance is 70 percent, according to the National Weather Service.
The hot weather will continue through Thursday — and then some relief will arrive.
A cool snap will drop temperatures into the mid-to upper-60s on Thursday night. The high will snap back up to the 80s on Friday before dropping again to the 60s at night.
