Truck hits horseback riders, killing 2 horses and injuring 3 people
Two horses are dead and at least three people were injured after a crash in Northwest Miami-Dade Saturday night, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
The driver of a white truck hit either one or two horses and a person riding on horseback in the area of Northwest 160th Street and 122nd Avenue, according to fire rescue spokesman Lt. Felipe Lay.
Lay said a black and brown horse were dead and three people were taken to area hospitals.
The identity of the victims and the driver have not been released.
