South Florida's first cold front of the season is expected to push through the area this week, but don't pull out your sweaters just yet.

Instead of it being really hot it will probably just be pretty hot, according to the National Weather Service.

“It’s a cold front, but it’s not going to change our temperature much,” said meterologist Maria Torres. “We will still be in the 80s.”

The front is expected to begin moving through Tuesday, which could mean by Wednesday parts of Miami-Dade and Broward could see temperatures in the lower 80s instead of the upper 80s, Torres said.

And with the front will also come the rain.

“Other than the rain, it’s probably not going to be that noticeable,” she said.
