Florida City mechanic hospitalized after vehicle falls on him

A Florida City mechanic was hospitalized after a vehicle fell on him Friday afternoon, authorities said.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue found the man at 30 NW 12th St., an address connected to Benny’s Truck and Auto Repairs, at 3:40 p.m. He was taken to the nearest trauma center, said MDFR spokeswoman Lt. Kirsten Miller.
