Miami police are investigating a robbery-related shooting that left one man dead on Saturday night, according to Miami Herald news partner CBS4.
The shooting happened shortly before 7 p.m. at Northwest 12th Avenue and 34th Street.
“I heard like four or five" shots, said neighbor Dexa Perez.
Perez told CBS4 she first thought they were fireworks, but when she went outside she realized her neighborhood was a crime scene.

The robbers "jumped this gate right behind me and they took off,” said neighbor Roberto, who did not want to disclose his last name.
The man who was shot was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s trauma center, where police said he later died.
As neighbors try to confirm who the victim is, they say they’re truly concerned about what’s taken place.
“It’s sad and very, very, very surprising for something like that to happen here. It usually never happens here,” neighbor Elizabeth Murray told CBS4.
Roberto added, “I ride my bike every day after school, so it’s pretty dangerous out here.”
