Map: ePrix race to close downtown Miami roads Friday and Saturday
Starting 10 a.m. Friday, several streets and intersections will be closed in downtown Miami to make way for the FIA Formula E Miami ePrix race.
Intersection closures along Biscayne Boulevard
From 10 a.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, the following intersections will be closed:
NE Seventh Street at Biscayne Boulevard
NE Ninth Street at Biscayne Boulevard
NE 11th Street at Biscayne Boulevard
Street closures that begin Friday morning
From 10 a.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Sunday, the following streets will be closed:
Biscayne Boulevard between NE Third and NE 14th streets:
-Northbound traffic will be rerouted to NE First Avenue.
-Southbound traffic will be rerouted to N. Miami Avenue.
-Southbound drivers can use NE Second Avenue until 8 p.m. Friday.
NE Sixt Street at Biscayne Boulevard: Westbound traffic on Port Boulevard will be directed to NE Third Street.
Street closures that begin Friday evening
From 8 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Saturday (expected), the following streets will be closed in addition to the morning closings:
NE Second Avenue from NE 14th Street to NE 11th Terrace: Local traffic will be permitted on NE Second Avenue, south of NE 11th Terr.
I-395 at NE Second Avenue Exit (coming from 836)
Detours during the main event Saturday
From 7 a.m. Saturday(gates open) to 5 p.m. (race ends)
Northbound from Downtown: Use NE First Avenue.
Southbound to Downtown: Use N. Miami Avenue.
836/395 West from Downtown: Follow signs on NE First Avenue.
I-95 from Downtown: Access via connections from NE Eighth Street and SE Second Avenue.
836/395 East from Downtown: Access via North Bayshore Drive next to Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts; South, follow the signs.
