Three victims in Tuesday’s triple shooting identified, one still in the hospital
One man was in critical but stable condition Wednesday after a Tuesday night triple-shooting outside a North Miami-Dade market.
Edward Lane, 36, and Andre Copeland, 41, neighbors two blocks apart on Northwest 15th Avenue, were released from Jackson Memorial Hospital after being treated at the Ryder Trauma Center. South Dade resident Jovane Jenkins, 38, took a bullet to the chest and remained at Jackson.
Miami-Dade police found the three men in the parking lot outside the Usave Supermarket. Police say witnesses described an SUV of light color pulling up to the corner of Northwest 82nd Street and Seventh Avenue, and a passenger jumping out and firing away at the three men. Then, the shooter got back in the SUV, which sped east.
