3 shot and wounded in Little Haiti

Three men were shot and wounded early Thursday in Little Haiti, according to Miami police.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. at Northwest 54th Street and Second Avenue, police said. Two men suffered wounds to the leg and arm. They were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital by Miami Fire Rescue.

A third person showed up at the hospital with a foot wound.

Witnesses told police they saw three people ran from the area after the shooting, police said.
