A portion of Southwest 32nd Avenue, near Coral Gables, could be closed until Friday morning because of a water main break, according to the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department.

The break to an 8-inch pipe happened Thursday at about 5 p.m. on SW 32nd Avenue, between Southwest 21st Street and 21st Terrace in unincorporated Miami-Dade. The road was closed in both directions.

Repairs could take up to 12 hours, according to the county's water department.
