Lane closures this week will disrupt commuter traffic on three major expressways: Interstates 95 and 75 as well as the Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike.

On I-95, workers again will close all northbound lanes at night from just south of Northwest 33rd Street and I-395 for removal and installation of sign structures belonging to the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority.

The shutdowns will run through Friday from midnight to 5:30 a.m. each day.

Several ramps will close as well on nearby roads. They include the exit ramp from westbound State Road 112 to Northwest 36th Street, which will be closed through Friday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each day. Also, the entrance ramps to eastbound State Road 836 from northbound and southbound Northwest 12th Avenue will be closed through Friday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each day.

On the turnpike, one or two lanes in each direction are scheduled to close between Eureka Drive and Southwest 104th Street between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. through Thursday each day. A third lane may also be closed between 11:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. each day — if needed. In addition, one or two lanes on State Road 874, the Don Shula Expressway, are to be closed between the turnpike interchange and Killian Parkway between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night through Thursday.

Also on the turnpike, one or two lanes in each direction may be closed at various locations between Eureka Drive and Southwest 216th Street from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day through Thursday.

Meanwhile, all northbound lanes are scheduled to be closed on I-75 at Miramar Parkway in Weston for placement of beams for a new Miramar Parkway interchange bridge from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day through Thursday.
