Authorities are investigating a police-involved shooting in northeast Miami-Dade.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to reports of a shooting Friday afternoon.
Chopper4 was over the scene near NE Second Court and 143rd Street around 5 p.m. Someone could be seen being put into a fire rescue truck.
A man could be seen sitting on the curb in handcuffs near a dark-colored vehicle with what appears to be bullet holes through the passenger side window. About 5 officers were seen standing by the man.
According to CBS4’s Peter D’Oench, this all started after a suspect tried to hit an officer with his car. He was reportedly forced to fire and the suspect was wounded and the officer was injured. Both were taken to Aventura Hospital.
A second suspect was taken into custody.
