Join some of South Florida’s best-known drag queens on Sunday at a new brunch to be held in one of Miami Beach’s most historic dining and entertainment spots: Señor Frogs, once home to Hoffman’s Cafeteria and later the gay hotspot, Warsaw Ballroom.
“This will be a great weekly event ..... Kiss!’ says host Elaine Lancaster, who will preside over the Sunday brunches at 1450 Collins Ave. Other well-known drag performers on opening day include DJ Fernan Dcute, Adora, TP Lords, Athena Dion, Angie Ovahness and Ebonee Excell of New York.
The brunch parties (also in New York City and Las Vegas) are being produced by Brandon Voss, an events planner associated with Logo’s RuPaul’s Drag Race. South Beach events promoter Edison Farrow (Cabaret South Beach at the National Hotel) is co-presenting Señor Frogs Drag Brunch.
Menu prices range from $31 to $50. Reservations can be made online through Voss’ website.

Hot on the heels of producing Logo’s RuPaul’s Drag Race Season Eight press and premiere tour, the man behind Voss Events and “ultimate Drag Race party planner” (Examiner.com) Brandon Voss is psyched to announce his company’s partnership with international restaurant chain, Señor Frogs. Together they plan to expand his wildly popular Drag Brunch, which began at the Times Square location last January, across the chain’s many locations beginning with Miami Beach and Las Vegas. The brunch launches Sunday April 3rd in Miami (1450 Collins Ave). The weekly Sunday event runs from 12pm to 4pm and one low price gets you brunch, unlimited cocktails and world class dragperformances by a cast of top notch queens including local Miami talent and special guests. Book your table for this fabulous event now at VossEvents.com.
Drag Brunch at Señor Frogs will be hosted by Elaine Lancaster, DJ Fernan Dcute, with performances by Adora, TP Lords, Athena Dion, Angie Ovahness, and special guest from NYC Ebonee Excell will fly in for the Grand Opening.
“Drag queens are in right now,” says Voss, crediting Logo’s Drag Race as the source of this trend. Known for his high concept parties at some of New York’s most exclusive venues, such as The Palace Hotel, W Hotels, Marquee, and the Dream Downtown, and hot ticket events featuring a-list stars including Lady Gaga, Cher, Caitlyn Jenner, and others, Brandon Voss originally conceived of his Drag Brunch at Señor Frog’s as an event where the city’s glitterati could kick off their heels and let down their hair, and wear balloon hats! But over the past few months the event has become a destination for out of towners and straight allies as well, and Voss intends to replicate that diverse mix in Miami and Las Vegas. Voss Events’ Drag Brunch delivers quite the spectacle. “Our Show centers around production numbers and comedy routines,” Voss explains. The cast performs two revue style shows each week, opening with a big, choreographed number featuring the entire cast. Each queen gets her moment to shine in a solo performance, and the show closes with another ensemble performance.
Edison Farrow was brought on board for the Miami Drag Brunch. “This will be a fantastic show and will bring us back to where in all started, in the former Warsaw Ballroom!”
