One of the only two roads into the Florida Keys has reopened after an hours-long closure following a traffic crash early Sunday afternoon, deputies said.

Around 2 p.m., the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office announced Card Sound Road, which leads into north Key Largo, was closed in both directions because of a crash that occurred on the Miami-Dade County side of the highway.

Authorities have not released details on the crash.

By 6:30 p.m., the highway was reopened to traffic.
