Florida fish and wildlife police alongside the U.S. Coast Guard are looking for a commercial fishing boat they say hit a sailboat in the Keys last week and left the scene.

A man on the vessel, called Applesauce, was injured in the crash and had to be flown to a Miami-Dade County hospital for treatment, the Coast Guard said in a statement. The condition of the man, who was not named, was not immediately available.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, his injuries were “non life-threatening.”

The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. Friday near the Marquesas, a group of islands located about 20 miles west of Key West. Witnesses describe the fishing boat as being white, 40 to 50 feet long, and with a spotlight on the wheelhouse.

Anyone with information about the boat is asked to call the FWC at 888-404-3922, or Coast Guard Sector Key West at (305) 292-8727. Tips can be made anonymously, the FWC said in a statement.
