Dancing nude man arrested in Marathon

A 60-year-old man was seen dancing nude on the side of the highway in Marathon and was arrested Sunday evening, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies received a call about a man dancing around the entrance of the Marathon Government Center just before 6 p.m.. When deputies arrived, the man was gone. He was later found — still naked — in a nearby wooded area.

He was identified as Marino Sanchez, a Marathon fisherman, and arrested on charges of indecent exposure. Sanchez was taken to jail where he received inmate clothes.
