Cocaine and pot found washed up throughout the Keys this week

Just under 70 pounds of cocaine and marijuana washed up on the shores of the Florida Keys this week in various incidents, according to the U.S. Border Patrol.

The agency announced on Twitter Friday that the total included 19 pounds of cocaine and 49 pounds of marijuana.

Adam Hoffner, division chief for U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Miami operations, said there were three separate wash-ups.

Border Patrol officials said in the statement that the estimated street value of all the drugs is about $193,000.
