Hialeah man arrested in Monroe County on outstanding murder charge
A Hialeah man was arrested in Monroe County for an outstanding warrant on a murder charge.
Sergeant Chuck Kellenberger was on the northern end of the Seven Mile Bridge around 2:30 a.m. Monday when he saw a group of people fishing in a “No Fishing” zone. While checking the IDs of all those on the scene, the officer realized that one of the men, 41-year-old Yoan Chavez Estenoz, had an outstanding warrant in Hillsborough County for first-degree murder.
Monroe Sheriff’s Office deputies took Chavez Estenoz into custody without incident and transported him to a Monroe County jail. He will be held there until he can be transported to Hillsborough County to face the charges.
