Bicyclist struck by car in Islamorada

A bicyclist struck by a car in Islamorada early Wednesday was airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened at mile marker 84.5. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
