He really needed to go. Robber leaves in a hurry with cash and toilet paper
The man fidgeted as he waited for his turn in line at a Little Haiti Family Dollar store.
He then approached the clerk and handed her a red bag.
Police say he ordered the clerk to place the cash from her register in the bag. He quickly walked out with the cash, but not before grabbing a package of toilet paper.
Now police hope surveillance video from the July 26 robbery at Family Dollar, 3 NE 54th St., will help them catch the thief.
Police said he left in an awaiting dark gray, 2013-2015 Ford Mustang.
The robber is described as having a full-beard, being a five-foot, six-inch black man, weighing about 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a gray imprint on front, and green camouflage cargo pants.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Miami Police Department’s robbery unit at 305-603-6370 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
