Keys man arrested for possession of cocaine, marijuana and pills
Authorities arrested a Keys man in connection with cocaine, marijuana, pills and cash found in a Stock Island home.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies, along with Drug Enforcement Administration and Homeland Security Investigations, served a search warrant Monday at a Stock Island residence, located in the 5000nd block of Laurel Avenue. Robert Johnson IV, 26, was outside when deputies arrived, said Monroe County Sheriff’s spokesperson Becky Herrin.
When police searched the home, they found about 30 grams, six grams of marijuana, drug equipment, 132 Tramadol pills and more than $3,200 in cash “suspected to be the proceeds of drug sales,” Herrin said.
Police arrested Johnson on charges of cocaine trafficking, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court for possession of marijuana. He is being held in Keys County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
