Bank robbery suspect arrested in Pompano Beach

A 43-year-old man was taken into federal custody Wednesday for his alleged involvement in the robbery of a Wells Fargo bank branch in Pompano Beach.

Craig Joseph Naughtin of Pompano Beach was arrested by the Broward Sheriff’s Office, FBI and South Florida Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.

Photos of the bank robbery were released Tuesday after the robbery at the bank, 3885 N. Federal Hwy.

The suspect, according to FBI officials, entered the bank and demanded money from an employee. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.

Naughtin is facing federal charges.
