Teen pedestrian killed in Pembroke Pines road
A teen crossing the road in Pembroke Pines was hit and killed by a car Monday night, police said.
The 16-year-old boy crossed on the 11500 block of Pines Boulevard outside of a crosswalk just before 11 p.m. Pembroke Pines Police said he was hit by 42-year-old Alexandre Focante, who was driving his blue Honda Accord westbound.
The teen died on scene. No charges have been filed.
