There’s been no positive identification of burned body found in Pembroke Pines on July 4. The Broward County Medical Examiner’s office still hasn’t released an exact cause of death.
But Pembroke Pines Police Department announced Tuesday that based on their investigation, “the incident does not appear to be criminal in nature.”
But the investigation into the burned black male found Monday morning next to the Michael’s at 11300 Pines Blvd. continues and the department wants anybody who saw something to say something to police at 954-431-2200.
The person who called 911 at 6:55 a.m. Monday thought the burning matter was a mannequin. When the Pines Fire Department arrived, the more grisly truth emerged: the burning body was a human.
