How did a man end up dead in a Fort Lauderdale alley? Police are trying to find out
A man was found dead early Tuesday morning in a Fort Lauderdale alley, police said.
Officers responding to reports of an unresponsive man found the body at about 6 a.m. behind 701 West Broward Blvd. It was not clear what caused the man’s death, but was being investigated as a homicide, police said.
“This is an active investigation and the circumstances surrounding this incident are still being determined,” said Keven Dupree, Fort Lauderdale police spokesman, in a news release.
Police said the man is 46-year-old Joseph Fetchen of Miami Springs.
