The city of Fort Lauderdale is still working on the two sewer main breaks that caused Thursday’s water use restriction advisory.
Residents should still avoid all water-related recreational activities in the area bound on the north by 38th Street; on the south by Interstate 595/Port Everglades; on the west by Interstate 95; and on the east by the Intracoastal Waterway.
Also closed: George English Lake; Himmarshee Canal; all City of Fort Lauderdale public boat launches, including Cox’s Landing/15th Street Boat Ramp; George English Park; Cooley’s Landing; and Riverland Woods Park.
