2 teens accused of killing man at Fort Lauderdale apartments
Two teens, one in a pink hoodie and another in a navy hoodie, approached a car driven by Gary Martin in a Fort Lauderdale apartment comlex. One shed his pink hoodie for a white T-shirt, the other shed his navy hoodie for a red T-shirt, and ran from the car where Martin took his last breath.
Surveillance cameras chronicled this. Now the two 14-year-olds, Dallas Holston and Sedrick Joseph, could be looking at shedding freedom for incarceration and prison-colored garments.
Fort Lauderdale police arrested Holston and Joseph on charges of first-degree murder on Tuesday in the murder of the 49-year-old Martin at the Everglades Heights apartment complex, 2400 NW 22nd Ave. Martin died on the scene of multiple gunshot wounds
Holston and Joseph’s ages are the minimum for being charged as adults.
