Broward sheriff hit by a car while jogging, suffers minor injuries
Broward Sheriff Scott Israel suffered minor injuries Tuesday night when he was hit by a car as he jogged in Davie, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened near Southwest 42nd Court and Hiatus Road.
Israel was taken to the hospital and the driver remained on the scene, according to BSO.
He was treated and released from Cleveland Clinic.
Davie police will handle the investigation.
