Coconut Creek cop charged with inappropriately touching two boys

A Coconut Creek police officer who is part of the firestorm surrounding the Taser-related death of an unarmed man last year was charged by the Broward Sheriff's Office on Thursday with inappropriately touching a juvenile.

Daniel Rush, 26, was arrested at 4 p.m. Thursday on one count of custodial sexual battery and two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation. He has been with the department since 2011.
