Hollywood police hope surveillance video will help solve burglary case
A man casually walked up to a back sliding glass door of a Hollywood home and threw something. It bounced back and he tried again.
After a third try, the glass shattered and he made his way inside.
Little did he know, a camera was capturing every move.
On Tuesday, Hollywood police released the video of the man — believed to be in his 20s — as he broke into the home in the 4900 block of Adams Street on Feb. 1.
The man was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, long-sleeve white shirt with a red and purple design at the bottom, red basketball shorts, black socks and sandals.
According to police, the burglar left through the front door after triggering the alarm.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Hollywood Police Department at 954-764-4357 or 954-967-4411 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
