Small plane with engine trouble lands on side of U.S. 27
A pilot ditched a Cessna in trouble the side of U.S. 27 in West Broward on Sunday morning after taking off from an airport in Palm Beach County, according to emergency reports.
The small plane had engine problems and was heading from Palm Beach County to Key West.
Three people were on board the plane, which made an emergency landing in the grass without incident south of Interstate 75 in Weston. No injuries were reported.
