Caught on camera: Women who drugged dates, stole their Rolexes
It was at the Porterhouse Bar in Sunny Isles Beach where the scantily dressed women selected their targets — two men in their 50s.
The men quickly took the bait and invited the women — believed to be in their 20s — back to a Hollywood house in a gated community belonging to one of the men.
There, the woman prepared alcoholic drinks and served them to the men.
And the rest, the men told Hollywood police, was a blur.
“The victims stated they became very sleepy and only recall waking up the next morning,” Hollywood police said Thursday of the Jan. 7 incident.
Missing, the men told police, were seven Rolex watches.
“Both victims immediately noticed their Rolex watches had been removed from their wrists,” police said. Five more were taken from a safe.
But what the women did leave before taking off was their picture on the gated community’s security-camera system. Police are hoping the pictures and video will help catch the women watch thieves.
One woman sported hair in buns, a barely-there top with an open jacket and high heels, and the other woman had blond hair with dark roots and was carrying her heels as they ran by the security cameras.
Earlier this year, Coral Gables released photos of two women who detectives say drugged two men and stole their Rolex watches.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Hollywood Police at 954-967-4411 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
