BSO looking for man who robbed KFC near Fort Lauderdale

It took just over a minute for a robber to storm into a KFC restaurant near Fort Lauderdale, slide over the counter, threaten the employees with a gun and steal money from two registers, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

And while the man did all of this, the surveillance cameras inside the restaurant at 3061 W. Sunrise Blvd. rolled.

The man wearing a black-and-gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves and something covering his face can clearly be seen walking past customers. He dropped his backpack on the counter as he tried to get cash. According to BSO, the man got away with a cash drawer and a backpack full of money.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
