Two bodies found behind Fort Lauderdale building

Authorities are investigating a deadly discovery in a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood, according to Miami Herald news partner CBS4.

Fort Lauderdale Police said they received an anonymous call around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday about two men dead behind a building at Northeast 13th Street and Third Avenue.

Chopper 4 was over the scene where police activity could be seen in the afternoon hours.

Two bicycles were spotted in the area where police found the bodies. It remains unclear how the men died or under what circumstances. Police will only say it’s suspicious.

The bodies were found in almost the exact location where Robert Reagan was found murdered back in October. He was apparently part of a group of citizens who tried to clean up his neighborhood and would turn in drug dealers.

Reagan’s killer has not been caught.

Police have no indication if this situation is connected but other residents are concerned.

“It’s really hard to keep things from escalating out here, so today it’s a little sad and sort of a bit of a step back because now we’re hearing of something else that’s happened on this very bad corner,” said resident Donna Collins.
