Two men, one of whom brandished a shotgun at a store clerk, have been tied to at least three robberies in Miramar.
On Saturday, the duo walked up to the take out window of a Checkers at 9901 Miramar Parkway just before 3:30 a.m., pointed a shotgun at an employee and demanded cash. The employee quickly ran to the back of the store and the men left.
About an hour and a half later, the two men walked into a Hess Gas Station at 12461 Miramar Parkway, and pointed a shotgun at the cashier. A couple in the store at the time thought it was a joke. After the man with the shotgun cleared out the cash register, he and his partner in crime left.
The following day, the pair robbed the Seven Day Food Market located at 6350 Pembroke Road. They got away with a pack of Newport cigarettes and cash. The clerk who was working at the time of the robbery said he felt his life was in danger. He also said that one of the thieves was jovial after the crime.

“He opened the door, he told me Happy New Year,” the clerk told CBS4 News.
Miami Gardens Police reported the duo also robbed a Wing Stop in their city on Sunday.
Investigators want them stopped.
“It’s extremely important to stop them because we do not know what’s going to happen the next time,” said Miramar Police spokeswoman Tania Rues. “And we were fortunate that none of the victims have been injured, but again that can change.”
Anyone with information about the duo should contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
