Boca Raton woman dies after losing control of her car, crashing on I-95

A Boca Raton woman died Friday night after her car crashed on I-95 in Broward County.

Hanna Tichy, 44, was driving her 2005 Kia Sorento southbound when “for reasons yet to be determined” she swerved to the right, flipping her car twice, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

She was thrown from her car and died before she could be sent to a hospital. She wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.

FHP is investigating why the accident happened.
