BSO: Man used someone else’s ID to steal thousands from North Lauderdale bank
Surveillance cameras captured clear images of a man who detectives say fraudulently used someone’s identity to withdraw thousands of dollars from a Chase bank during the summer.
On Thursday, the Broward Sheriff’s Office released photos of a man wearing a polo shirt, dress slacks and reading glasses inside the bank at 1319 State Road 7 in North Lauderdale on July 2.
Detectives say the man committed the same crime at a Sunrise bank.
Anyone with information is asked to contact BSO Sgt. Thomas Gentile at 954-722-5800 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
